CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation Portal Update

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully resolved the technical issues that previously hindered access to the Class 12 re-evaluation portal. After the results were announced, many students faced challenges logging in and entering CAPTCHA codes. In response, CBSE mobilized its technical team to rectify these problems. The portal was re-launched on May 20, 2026, and within hours, over 127,000 students had submitted their application forms.

Students had been struggling to obtain scanned copies of their Class 12 answer sheets and to apply for re-verification due to ongoing technical difficulties with logins, payments, and the website itself. The Board has confirmed that the online portal is now fully operational, allowing students to submit their applications without any issues.

As of 7:30 PM on Tuesday, CBSE reported that 127,146 students had successfully applied for scanned copies of 387,399 answer sheets within just three hours of the portal's reopening.

CBSE reassured students, stating, "The online portal for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets is now functioning without any issues. Students can submit their applications effortlessly." The Board also reminded students that they can continue to apply through the portal, accessible at "pvr.cbseit.in/pvr/".

Immediate Actions Taken by CBSE

Following the initial launch of the portal, students encountered significant challenges with logging in, processing payments, and completing application forms. Many expressed their frustrations on social media. In response to these complaints, CBSE acted swiftly by extending the application deadline by one day. Students can now submit their applications until May 23, instead of the original deadline of May 22. An official notice from the Board confirmed this extension to ensure students have ample time to apply, considering the technical difficulties faced.
