CBSE Board Exam 2026: Significant updates have emerged for the numerous students set to take the CBSE Board Exams in 2026. The board has altered the exam schedules for both Class 10 and Class 12. Reports indicate that the dates for certain subjects originally planned for March 3, 2026, have been modified.

The CBSE has released a notification on its official website, cbse.gov.in, to inform students and their guardians. The announcement specifies that the exams for subjects initially scheduled for March 3rd will now take place on new dates: the Class 10 exam will be held on March 11th, while the Class 12 exam is set for March 10th. The board confirmed that all other exams will proceed as per the previously established timetable.

CBSE's Request to Schools

The CBSE has urged all affiliated schools to promptly communicate these changes to students and their parents. The board has assured that a revised date sheet will be published shortly, detailing the new exam dates. Additionally, the updated dates will be reflected on the students' admit cards.

Exam Schedule Details

As per the CBSE timetable, the board exams will occur in a single shift. Most subjects will have their exams from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. However, a few selected subjects will have slightly different timings, scheduled from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
