CBSE Board Exam 2024 Timetable Undergoes Changes, Check Revised Dates

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made significant revisions to the board exam 2024 date sheet. Notable alterations include changes in the schedules for the Class 10 Tibetan and Retail papers and the Class 12 Fashion Studies exam. Changes in Exam Dates

• Class 10:

  • The Tibetan paper, initially set for March 4, will now take place on February 23.
  • The Retail paper, previously slated for February 16, has been rescheduled to February 28.

• Class 12:

  • The Fashion Studies exam, previously scheduled for March 11, will now be conducted on March 21.

Exam Details

• The CBSE board exams 2024 will commence on February 15, running in a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm daily.
• The exams span 55 days, concluding with the Class 10 exams on March 13 and the Class 12 exams on April 2.

  • English exam: Feb 26
  • Science exam: Mar 2
  • Social Science: Mar 7
  • Mathematics: Mar 11

• Class 12:

  • Accountancy: Mar 23
  • Political Science: Mar 22

  • History: Mar 28
  • Conclusion with Computer Science and Information Technology exams on April 2.

Changes in Answer Book Format

The CBSE has introduced changes in the answer book format for the Class 12 Accountancy exam, eliminating specialised answer books that included tables. Starting from the 2024 Board Examination, Accountancy will use standard line-answer books like other subjects in Class 12.
