Announcement of Practical Exam Dates
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the practical exam dates for the 10th and 12th board exams scheduled for 2026. According to this announcement, project work, practical exams, and internal assessments will commence in the first week of November 2025 at schools. However, this notice does not apply to all schools. Details regarding the exam format, how marks will be uploaded, and the number of students in each batch have been provided in a circular issued by the board. CBSE 10th and 12th Practical Exam Dates
On October 16, the Central Board of Secondary Education released a notice on its official website cbse.gov.in. The notice states, 'According to the exam bylaws, project work, practicals, and internal tests for the 2025-26 session will begin on January 1, 2026, in CBSE schools located in India and abroad.' However, this will not apply to schools in winter-bound areas.
Details for Winter-Bound Schools
The board clarified that 'schools located in colder regions will start the exams for classes 10 and 12 from November 6, 2025, and these must be completed by December 6, 2025. When Will the CBSE Board Exams for 2026 Take Place?
It is important to note that at the beginning of this session, CBSE had already announced that the board exams for classes 10 and 12 will commence on February 15, 2026. Additionally, the last paper for the current year, 2025, was conducted on April 4. The detailed schedule for the CBSE board exam 2026 will be released by December.
