BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2024: Apply for 70,000 Posts Soon! Notification Expected in February

The education department of Bihar is gearing up for the third phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Expected to be announced in February 2024, this recruitment drive aims to fill 70,000 teaching positions across various educational levels in the state.

Scope of Recruitment:

The upcoming BPSC TRE 3.0 will cover positions left vacant in the previous phases and offer opportunities at different educational levels:

• Classes 1 to 5
• Classes 6 to 8
• Classes 9 to 10
• Classes 11 and 12

Previous Phases:

The second phase of the BPSC TRE took place from December 7 to December 15, 2023, filling 1.22 lakh vacancies in Primary Teacher (PRT), Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) positions. The results were announced on December 22, 2023.

Challenges Addressed:

The recruitment drive addresses longstanding challenges in the education system, primarily the student-teacher ratio. The aim is to rectify the imbalance and enhance the quality of education. The student-teacher ratio in primary schools has improved to 1:35, and in secondary schools, it stands at 1:36 after the second phase.

Upcoming Phase:
