Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university along with a Diploma or Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching from the National Institute of Sports or an accredited Sports University. Additionally, candidates should have represented their country or state in recognized competitions or participated in national/inter-service/all-India events.
Age Requirements
Age Limit:
The minimum age for applicants is 21 years as of August 1, 2025. The maximum age limits are as follows:
- Unreserved Male: 37 years
- Backward/Extremely Backward Classes (Male and Female) and Unreserved Female: 40 years
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female): 42 years
Selection Process
How Candidates Will Be Selected:
The recruitment process consists of three stages:
- Initial testing in Hindi and two multiple-choice (MCQ) papers.
- Verification of sports achievement certificates and graduation credentials, along with assessment of sports coaching course marks.
- An interview for shortlisted candidates.
Application Fee
Application Fee Structure:
Each candidate is required to pay an examination fee of Rs 100. Additional bank charges may apply during online payment. Candidates who do not provide an Aadhaar number in their application will incur an extra Biometric fee of Rs 200.
