BPSC 69th Mains Exam Schedule

The exam schedule is as follows:

  • January 3: General Hindi paper
  • January 4: General Studies first paper
  • January 5: General Studies second paper
  • January 6: Essay subject paper
  • Optional papers: January 20 and 21 (in two shifts from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm)

All exams are set to be conducted from 11 am to 2 pm except for the optional papers, which will be conducted across two days and two shifts.

Admit Card Details and Release

The BPSC will release the admit cards for the mains exam approximately a week before the commencement date, starting from January 3. Candidates can download their admit cards exclusively from the official BPSC website at bpsc.bih.nic.in. It's essential to note that the commission will not dispatch admit cards via postal services.

BPSC 69th Main Exam: Recruitment and Subjects

This examination aims to fill 475 vacancies across various departments of the Bihar government, including Education, Revenue, Finance, Home, Social Welfare, and the State Election Commission. The Main Exam consists of three subjects:

  • General Studies: 250 questions carrying two marks each
  • Essays: Graded out of 250 marks
  • Optional subjects: Graded out of 500 marks

Candidates who successfully clear the mains exam will progress to the interview round, carrying a weightage of 100 marks.
