Bihar BSSTET 2023 Application Deadline Extended: Apply Now Till Dec 27

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the registration deadline for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or BSSTET 2023 until December 27. Eligible candidates yet to register can apply on the official website at bsebstet.com.

The Bihar STET 2023 will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes, totaling 150 marks without negative marking for incorrect answers. This annual exam assesses the eligibility of teachers for secondary and higher secondary levels. Candidates can apply for paper 1 for secondary-level teaching positions and paper 2 for higher secondary-level teaching positions, either individually or for both papers.

BIHAR STET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or B.Ed along with graduation or post-graduation.
• Age Limit: Minimum age of 18 years. Maximum age limits vary: General (37 years), General category females (40 years), SC/ST males and females (42 years), BC and EBC applicants (40 years).

3. Register yourself.
4. Fill in the required details in the form.
5. Pay the application fees.
6. Submit the form.

BIHAR STET 2024: Application Fees

• General, EWS, OBC, and BC categories: Rs 960 for one paper, Rs 1,440 for both papers.
• SC, ST, and PwD candidates: Rs 760 for one paper, Rs 1,140 for both papers.
