Bihar Board Inter Exam 2026 Guidelines: The anticipation has come to an end for numerous students in Bihar as the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released stringent guidelines for the upcoming 12th-grade examinations in 2026. Approximately 13,17,846 students are expected to participate in the Bihar Board 12th examination, scheduled from February 2nd to February 13th, 2026. Notably, the number of female candidates (6,75,844) surpasses that of male candidates (6,42,002), reflecting the evolving educational dynamics in Bihar.


Examination Conduct and Regulations

The Bihar Board has emphasized that any form of cheating will be met with strict penalties. Examination centers will be equipped with CCTV cameras and videographers to ensure integrity. Additionally, Section 163 (previously Section 144) will be enforced within a 200-meter perimeter of the examination venue. Students must be mindful of the examination timings; late arrivals will not be permitted entry, potentially jeopardizing their efforts over the past year.

Entry Timings and Regulations

The Bihar Board has revised the entry protocol for examination centers. Students are now required to arrive one hour prior to the exam start time. The first shift will commence at 9:30 AM, with entry starting at 8:30 AM, and the gates closing at 9:00 AM. The second shift will begin at 1:00 PM, with entry opening at 12:00 PM.


Strict Disciplinary Measures

Climbing over the wall or forced entry will result in a 2-year ban.


The Bihar Board has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards indiscipline. Any student attempting to enter after the gate closure or climbing over the wall will face legal action, including an FIR, and will be barred from taking the examination for two years. Such behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances.


Security Measures at Examination Centers

Frisking will be conducted at two levels:
Bringing mobile phones or any electronic devices into the Bihar Board examination center is strictly forbidden. Students will undergo security checks at two stages: once at the entrance and again before entering the examination room. Videography will be utilized at the examination centers to monitor all activities.
