Attention CA Aspirants: ICAI Releases Dates for September 2024 Foundation and Intermediate Exams
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the exam schedule for the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams to be held in September 2024. Eligible candidates can access the date sheet on the official website icai.org. The exams are scheduled to take place between September 12 and September 23, 2024, with specific dates allocated for each exam.

Exam Schedule:
- CA Foundation Examination: September 13, 15, 18, and 20, 2024.
- Intermediate Course Examination Group 1: September 12, 14, and 17, 2024.
- Intermediate Course Examination Group 2: September 19, 21, and 23, 2024.
Application Process:
- CA Foundation exam application process starts on July 28, and for CA Intermediate exams, registrations begin on July 7.
- The last date to apply without a late fee is August 10 for the foundation and July 20 for the intermediate.
- Candidates can apply with a late fee of Rs 600 until August 13 for the foundation exam and July 23 for the intermediate exam.
- Correction window for application details will be open from August 14 to August 16 for the foundation and from July 24 to July 26 for the intermediate.
Exam Details:
- Exams will be held in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm for all papers, except for CA Foundation Course exam papers 3 and 4, which will be held between 2 to 4 pm.
- The examination schedule remains unchanged even if any exam dates fall on a public holiday. However, there will be no examination scheduled on September 16 due to Milad-un-Nabi, a compulsory Central Government holiday.
International Examination Centres:
- Apart from Indian cities, exams will also be held at 8 international examination centres including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, and Muscat.
