World Bank to give $250 million loan for school education project in Andhra

Employment News-The World Bank will provide a loan of $250 million for a school education project in Andhra Pradesh. More than 50 lakh students of the state will get its benefit. Explain that the Andhra Pradesh government is going to start this project to improve the 'learning' or learning ability of more than 50 lakh students of the state.

According to an official statement released on Tuesday, "The Government of India, the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the World Bank signed a $250 million agreement for a project on November 18, 2021. It aims to improve the 'learning' or learning ability of over 50 lakh students in Andhra Pradesh.

The agreement was signed by Rajat Kumar Mishra, Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Rajasekhar, Principal Secretary, Andhra Pradesh School Education Department, and Junaid Ahmed, Regional Director, World Bank.
