Admit Card Release and Exam Dates: The WBPSC Food SI Exam 2024 is scheduled to take place on March 16 and 17, 2024, in Kolkata and outlying centres. The examination will be conducted across three sessions each day, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This two-day event promises to be a significant milestone for aspiring candidates aiming to secure a position as Sub-Inspector in the Subordinate Food & Supplies Service.

Admit Card Availability: Candidates can access their admit cards from March 2, 2024, onwards. These crucial documents can be downloaded directly from the official website of the West Bengal Public Service Commission at  www.psc.wb.gov.in. It is imperative for applicants to keep track of this date and promptly download their admit cards to avoid any last-minute hassles.

Exam Day Guidelines:

  • Venue, Date, and Session Allocation: Candidates are assigned specific venues, dates, and sessions for the examination. It is essential to adhere strictly to these details as no requests for changes will be entertained.
  • Prohibited Items: During the examination, candidates are strictly prohibited from taking away question booklets, using washroom facilities except in emergencies, or bringing any items other than those required for examination, such as the admit card, ID proof, and photograph.
  • Restricted Items: The use of mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, portable scanners, Bluetooth devices, gadgets of communication, and clipboards is strictly forbidden inside the examination premises. Violation of these instructions will result in penal action, including a ban from future examinations.
  • Safety Measures: Candidates are advised to wear masks/face covers and use sanitizer for their safety during the examination.
