WBJEE Counselling 2023 Registrations Begin Today At wbjeeb.nic.in

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has initiated the WBJEE counselling registration 2023 on July 20th. This registration is for candidates who wish to pursue B.Tech programmes in engineering institutes within the state. Out of the 1,01,000 candidates who took the WBJEE this year, around 97,000 received ranks. To register, candidates must visit the official website wbjeeb.nic.in once the WBJEE registration link becomes active.

The WBJEE counselling process involves several steps, including registration, choice filling, seat assignment, and seat acceptance. Only eligible applicants who have qualified for WBJEE 2023 are eligible to participate. The online registration and selection deadline is set for July 25, and candidates can make changes to their selections and lock them until July 28. On July 27, a mock seat allocation based on the candidates' choices will be conducted, while the final seat allotment results will be announced on August 1. Throughout the counselling process, WBJEEB will provide the opening and closing ranks for each round of seat allocation.

To begin the WBJEE 2023 Counselling registration, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official WBJEE counselling website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Click on the registration link for WBJEE counselling.
3. If you are a new candidate, select "New Candidate Registration" and specify whether you are using WBJEE, JEE Main, or both for admission.
4. Enter your application number, roll number, name, and birthdate for WBJEE registration.
5. If you are also using JEE Main 2023, enter your unique application number, roll number, name, and birthdate.
6. If you are using both channels, enter the information from both exams.
7. Finally, click "Submit" to complete the WBJEE 2023 registration procedure.

It is important to note that all candidates must pay a registration fee of Rs. 500 for Round 1 of the counselling process online through the WBJEEB website. During registration, applicants must be cautious as there is no provision for any modification or editing after the final submission of the registration, as per the notification issued by the board.
