Warning to the officers of Health, Education and Panchayat Department, notice to the Medical Officer in charge

Employment News-The District Magistrate reviewed the development works by holding a meeting in the Collectorate Auditorium on Wednesday. He expressed displeasure at the officials of Health Department, Panchayat Department and Basic Education Department for getting poor progress. Said that if there is no improvement, strict action will be ensured while fixing the accountability of the concerned.

During the review of the plans of the Health Department, expressed strong displeasure over the poor progress of vaccination. PHC Wayana got the worst progress. The Medical Officer-in-Charge there, Dr. Venkatesh was not even present in the meeting. On this, the District Magistrate issued a notice against him and directed to ensure departmental action. All other in-charge medical officers were also warned. Said that after survey, it should be found out that the people who are not living in the village, should get information about them whether they have been vaccinated or not. Asked to take the contact number of such people also. Also inquired about the family planning program and instructed to improve the category. During the review of Operation Kayakalp, expressed displeasure over the lack of construction work of some primary schools. Said that the work should be completed soon. Toilets etc. should be fixed so that there is no inconvenience to the police and election personnel, especially women, during elections. All the Block Development Officers were instructed to visit the schools in their block area. Check progress where repairs are being made and report them to the CDO. In any case, all the schools should be in good condition before the election.

Warned DPRO Ajay Srivastava for unnecessary delay at many places in the construction of Panchayat Bhawan. Said that if the improvement is not shown soon then there will be dire consequences. CDO Praveen Verma, DDO RR Mishra etc. were present in the meeting.
