Uttar Pradesh Primary School Teacher Sacked For Submitting Fake Birth Certificate

On Monday, local police reported that a primary school teacher employed by the government has been accused of presenting a counterfeit birth certificate upon joining the service in 1999. Mohammad Faheemm, the Circle officer of Rasra, stated that an FIR (First Information Report) has been filed against Brajnath Ram under IPC sections 419 (pertaining to punishment for cheating by personation) and 420 (regarding cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) based on a complaint made by block education officer Madhavendra Pandey.
According to Pandey's complaint, Ram had been appointed as an assistant teacher after claiming that his date of birth was December 1, 1960. However, upon investigation by the department, it was discovered that his actual birth date was December 1, 1953. Despite this discrepancy, Ram had been serving as an assistant teacher at the primary school since 1999. In response to the situation, Maniram Singh, the Basic Education Officer of Ballia, confirmed that the teacher has been terminated from his position.
