Admit Card Availability

The admit cards for the PET examination became available on October 19, with the last date for downloading set for October 29. Candidates can access their admit cards through the official website.

Examination Centers

The PET examination is scheduled to take place in 35 districts across Uttar Pradesh. An estimated 20 lakh students are expected to participate in this significant examination.

Essential Documents

Candidates must ensure they have the following documents when entering the exam hall:

  1. Downloaded admit card.
  2. A valid photo identity proof.
  3. A passport-sized photograph.

Permitted Items

While in the examination hall, candidates are allowed to bring water bottles.

Prohibited Items

Certain items are strictly prohibited within the exam center, including mobile phones, digital clocks, jewelry, and any other electronic gadgets.

Dress Code

Male candidates should adhere to the following dress code:

  • Wear half-sleeved outfits.
  • Tie their hair with a simple band, without using any stylish bands or clips.

Writing Instruments

Candidates are permitted to bring only black or blue pens for the examination. No rough work paper will be provided.

Examination Shifts

The PET examination will be conducted in two shifts:

  • The first shift runs from 10 am to 12 pm.
  • The second shift commences at 3 pm, concluding at 5 pm.

Question Format

The PET test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Notably, negative marking is applicable in the examination. The syllabus for the test covers a range of topics, including General Science, Social Science, Geography, the Indian Constitution, the Indian Economy, and the History of India.
