University Of Hyderabad to Begin PhD Registration From May 1

The University of Hyderabad is inviting applications from eligible candidates for its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes for the academic year 2023-24. To apply for the PhD courses, candidates must visit the official website of UoH at acad.uohyd.ac.in. The registration process will commence on Monday, May 1, and end on Thursday, May 25. The hall tickets can be downloaded from June 10 onwards by registered candidates. The entrance exam for admission to the PhD programmes will be held on June 17 and June 18. Candidates applying for the PhD courses must appear for an All India Common Entrance Test hosted by the University of Hyderabad. Those who have appeared for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) exam are also eligible to apply. To apply for the University of Hyderabad PhD 2023 programme, candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 2: Register on the website.
Step 3: Log in and proceed with the PhD application form.
Step 4: Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.
Step 5: Make the necessary payment.
Step 6: Submit the form as instructed.
Step 7: Save and download the confirmation page.
Step 8: Print a hard copy of the form.
While filling the University of Hyderabad PhD 2023 form, candidates must upload scanned copies of their signature and photograph, educational certificates, a valid NET JRF certificate, and caste certificate (if required). The application fee is Rs 600 for general category candidates, Rs 550 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates, Rs 400 for Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer category applicants, and Rs 275 for SC/ST/PWD (PH) category candidates. It is essential to note that the fee once paid will not be refunded. Candidates must also carefully note down the PhD form number and payment transaction number or order number for future reference. The PhD application will not be considered by the university without the form number.
