UGC NET Result 2023 for June Session Exam Soon, Websites to Check
UGC NET Result 2023: Over 6,39,069 candidates are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2023 results. UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar stated that the results will be declared on either July 26 or 27. Once the results are out, students can check their marks on the official websites using their application number and date of birth. The result can be accessed at ugcnet.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in.
Candidates should take note that qualifying for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) requires higher marks than just qualifying the NET. Scoring 50 per cent in the paper makes a candidate eligible for UGC NET, while for NET JRF, the top 6 per cent of candidates who pass the exam are selected for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Please bear in mind that this percentage may vary.
Regarding the marking scheme for the UGC NET 2023 June session exam, students will receive two marks for each correct response, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Unanswered, un-attempted, or marked-for-review questions will not be awarded any marks. In cases of questions with multiple correct answers or ambiguity, credit is given to candidates who attempted the question and chose one correct answer. If a question is found to be incorrect and subsequently dropped, candidates who attempted it will be awarded two marks, as per the NTA guidelines.
The provisional answer key for the UGC NET June 2023 was released on July 6, and candidates were allowed to raise objections until July 8. After reviewing these objections, the final answer key is expected to be released, along with the UGC NET exam results.
