UGC NET 2023 Results To Be Released By Mid-August? Here's What We Know So Far

The announcement of the results for the UGC National Eligibility Test 2023 (UGC-NET 2023), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is expected to take place soon. Although the official date and time have not been confirmed yet, it is likely that the results will be made public around August 10 to 15. As per a tweet by UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the NTA will announce the UGC NET 2023 results in the second week of August. He also mentioned that the answer key challenge for UGC-NET started on July 5 or 6, and the final results will be declared after considering the candidates' objections.
To check their UGC NET 2023 results, candidates need to log in to the UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, using their application number and date of birth. Once logged in, they can view their results, including their grade, marks, and the subject and category cutoff marks. On July 6, the official website released the UGC NET 2023 answer key and response sheets for 83 subjects. Candidates were given the opportunity to submit their objections to the answer key online. The NTA will announce the final UGC NET 2023 answer key and results after considering the candidates' concerns. After the final answer keys are published, no further objections or challenges will be considered by the NTA.
In the UGC NET 2023, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers, and each question carries a value of two marks. Questions that are not attempted or marked for evaluation will not be awarded any marks. This year, a total of 6,39,069 applicants registered for the NTA UGC NET 2023 June Session. The test was conducted in two phases over nine days and 18 shifts across 181 Indian cities. The UGC NET is held biannually in June and December, providing qualified candidates with opportunities for assistant professorship and junior research fellowship (JRF) in universities and higher education institutions nationwide.
