The Mega DSC 2024 aims to fill a total of 11,062 teacher positions across various categories:
- 2,629 School Assistant Posts
- 727 Language Scholars
- 182 Physical Education Teachers (PETs)
- 6,508 Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs)
- 220 Special Education School Assistants
- 796 Additional SGT Posts
Out of 2,79,957 applicants, 87.61% appeared for the exams.
Post-Results Process
Once the results are announced, selected candidates will need to report to the department for document verification. Appointment letters are expected to be issued promptly after this process. Traditionally, the government distributes appointment documents on Teacher’s Day, which falls on September 5.
