Top Noida School's Website Hacked by 'Bangladeshi' Hackers

An unidentified group claiming to be "Muslim hackers from Bangladesh" reportedly breached the website of a prominent private school in Noida. The homepage displayed a message stating, "When our freedom is threatened, we take action," indicating a potential motive behind the hack. The incident came to light during the late hours, and local authorities confirmed that no formal complaint had been filed yet.

The message left on the school's website by the purported hackers read, "We, Bangladeshi Muslim hackers, are committed to safeguarding our digital realm. We stand against oppression, advocating for freedom. We embody a simple evolution of the technological system. In times of liberty's jeopardy, anticipate our intervention… (sic)." Notably, the website showcased the national flag of Bangladesh. The hackers concluded their message with "Joy Bangla" followed by the word "Bangladesh," alongside various code names.

This incident closely follows the recent activities of a hacktivist group named "Mysterious Team Bangladesh," highlighted in a cybersecurity firm's report. The group has been responsible for executing multiple distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks since June 2022. Driven predominantly by religious and political motivations, the group has targeted various sectors within India, as detailed in the report by Group-IB.
