In the Tamil Nadu SSLC or Class 10th Result of 2023, a total of 9,14,320 students appeared for the exam. Out of this number, 8,35,614 students successfully cleared the exam, resulting in a pass percentage of 91.39%. Among the candidates, 4,59,303 were boys, and 4,04,904 of them passed, accounting for an 88.16% pass percentage. On the other hand, 4,55,017 girls appeared for the exam, with 4,30,710 of them successfully clearing it, leading to an impressive pass percentage of 94.66%.
The pass percentage for this year's Tamil Nadu SSLC exam has increased compared to last year's 90.07%. However, it is worth noting that in 2022, the pass percentage was the lowest in the past five years. While the pass percentage in 2023 is an improvement, it remains lower than the pre-pandemic times.
