TN 10th SSLC Result 2023: Poor Marks? Compartment Exam, Re-evaluation Dates Soon

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Education (TNDGE) has announced the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 10th board exams today, May 19. A total of 91.39% of students have successfully cleared the exams, requiring a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in each subject to pass. Students who did not pass one or more subjects have the option to apply for compartmental exams.
Out of 9,14,320 students who appeared for the 10th board exams, 8,35,614 students have passed. The Tamil Nadu class 10 compartment exams are expected to take place in June or July. Additionally, after announcing the TN Class 11 result 2023, the Directorate of Government Education will initiate the scrutiny and supplementary exam process for HSE+1. The +1 or class 11 results will also be announced today at 2 PM. An official notice regarding the supplementary exam and registration dates will be released soon.
The Tamil Nadu board offers a re-evaluation process for candidates who wish to review their answer sheets for any errors. The applications for re-evaluation will be available on the official website after the board results are declared. The board also conducts compartment exams for students who were unable to pass on their first attempt.
Students who have taken the Tamil Nadu Board exams can check their results on the official websites of TNDGE, namely dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. The results will also be accessible at dge1.tn.nic.in, apply1.tndge.org, and dge2.tn.nic.in. Furthermore, school students can check their exam results free of charge through their respective schools, National Information Centers located in the district collector office premises, and all libraries. The school education department will send the examination results to the registered cell phone numbers of school students and individual candidates via text message.
