The report earmarked Banking Finance Securities and Insurance (BFSI) as the dominant industry for job openings in 2023, trailed by Healthcare, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, and Retail. In-demand roles included Business Development Executive, Data Analyst, Customer Service Executive, and Digital Marketing Intern. Nonetheless, startup job offers witnessed a decline in these college tiers this year.

The year 2023 witnessed substantial shifts in recruitment dynamics, characterized by heightened employee turnover rates and the integration of advanced technologies like GenAI, as stated by the HR tech platform.

Rahul Veerwal, CEO of GetWork, attributed the surge in placements to the vast talent pool in Tier 2 and 3 colleges. Accelerated recruitment is expected in domains like automobile, manufacturing, Oil and Gas, and Infrastructure.
