In Ranchi district, Jharkhand, police have apprehended three individuals accused of allegedly raping a girl. This information was disclosed on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The incident reportedly took place a few days prior in the Namkum police station area, but the victim's father filed a formal complaint on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Sumit Kumar Agrawal, the Superintendent of Police (Rural) in Ranchi, stated, "A team was formed based on the complaint, and all three suspects involved in the crime have been arrested. They have confessed to their wrongdoing."


Details of the Accused

According to police reports, the suspects have been identified as Jagdish Swansi (20), Vishnu Munda (18), and Deepak Munda (19). Superintendent Agrawal mentioned that Vishnu was acquainted with the victim and had been in contact with her via social media. The complaint indicates that Vishnu led the girl to a hilly area while she was returning from the market.
