Students did not get books complete, education will remain incomplete

In order to increase the admission in government schools, more and more people are being encouraged to enroll their children in government schools through teachers. On the other hand, despite the commencement of the session, the students are not getting complete books of all the subjects.

According to the information, till now welcome life, English and Science (English Medium) students of class VI, Mathematics (Punjabi Medium) and Science (English Medium) for class IX students and Social Education (Punjabi Medium) for class X students. Books on important subjects like ) and (English Medium) did not reach. Due to which the students are unable tocontinue their studies. On the other hand, the department claims that due to increase in admission in government schools, there is a shortage of books. The situation is that even after the passage of almost three months from the beginning of the session, till now there is a shortage of 20 percent books across the state. The department provides free books to the students till class X

Free books are provided to the students from primary to tenth level under the free education scheme by the Punjab government. Often every year children start studies with half incomplete books. This situation lasts not only for a few months but till the end of the session. This causes trouble to the child. At the same time, there remains a big problem for teachers and office workers. Every year the students have to bear the consequences of the lateness of the department. The education department is not serious about the education of the students. The proof of this is found in the absence of books even after three months of the session. The department should ensure the supply of books in the respective districts before the commencement of the session every year.

Vikram Dev Singh, State Head, DTF As the demand for books is being sent from different schools and blocks, books are being sent accordingly. Most of the books have been supplied, the few books that are left will also be supplied in the coming days.
