SSC Application 2024: New Rules for Uploading Photos and Signatures to Prevent Rejection

Key Guidelines for Photograph Upload:

Candidates should pay close attention to the following points when uploading their photos:

  • Plain Background: Ensure the photo has a plain background.
  • No Caps: Candidates should not wear caps in their photos.
  • Proper Attire: Candidates should be fully dressed; photos taken without shirts will be rejected.
  • Good Lighting: Make sure the photo is well-lit to avoid rejection.
  • Clear Image: Avoid uploading blurred photos.

Key Guidelines for Signature Upload:

  • Signature Size: The main reason for signature rejection is due to 'miniature' signatures. Candidates are advised to use the box provided in the notice and ensure the signature covers at least 80% of the box.

Candidates can review examples of correct and incorrect signatures provided by SSC on their official website, ssc.gov.in, to understand what is acceptable.

SSC MTS Application Correction Facility:

The SSC has also opened an online correction facility for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment exam applications. Candidates who need to make changes to their submitted applications can do so on the official SSC website. The deadline for making corrections is today, August 17.

Important Notes:

  • Changes after the correction window closes will not be accepted by the Commission.
  • The SSC MTS exam is scheduled to be held from September 30 to November 14 in multiple shifts across India.
