Recently, salary reports of Google employees for the year 2022 have surfaced, attracting significant attention. These leaked reports pertain only to full-time employees in the United States, shedding light on the compensation of various positions within the company.

Among the disclosed positions, software engineers emerged as the highest-paid at Google. The top 10 positions mentioned in the report include Software Engineer, Engineer Manager, Enterprise Direct Sales, Legal Corporate Counsel, Sales Strategy, and UX Design roles. In 2022, software engineers received an impressive base salary of Rs 5.9 crore. Engineering managers followed closely with a salary of Rs 3.28 crore, while employees in Enterprise Direct Sales and Legal Corporate Counsel teams earned Rs 3.09 crore and Rs 2.62 crore as base salaries, respectively. Program Managers received the lowest base salary of Rs 2.46 crore in 2022. The leaked report covered salary details of 12,000 Google employees, with a median salary of Rs 2.3 crore.

Apart from attractive salaries, Google also provides its employees with additional perks, such as stock options and bonuses. In the 2022 data compiled by MyLogIQ, Google's parent company, Alphabet, ranked third among the highest-paying companies, with Meta securing the second spot. The analysis of this data was carried out by the Wall Street Journal.
