Screw of land agreement stuck in recognition of 18 schools

There are 18 schools in the 92 schools of the district which are operated on the land of BCCL or other institutions. Land agreements have been signed between these schools and related institutions. The validation screw is stuck due to lack of cell DD and lead deed with the validation application.

In the guidelines issued by the government for recognition, only the sale deed or lease deed is mentioned. There is no mention of land agreement anywhere in the condition or qualification. Experts say that a meeting of the District Elementary Education Committee was held under the chairmanship of DC. In which it was decided that instruction is being sought from the Department of School Education and Literacy.

On the other hand, 92 public schools in the district had applied for recognition from 1st to 8th class under RTE. Eight of these schools have been shortlisted. Now DDC to check the ground papers of these eight schools, AC Revenue and DSE will meet. Further process will begin after the meeting.

Sutras say that many of the 92 schools have not submitted fire NOCs. The recognition of most schools is getting screwed due to fire NOC and ground verification. On the other hand, District Education Superintendent Indra Bhushan Singh said that the district is seeking guidance as per the instructions of the preliminary committee.

There is an agreement between BCCL and the concerned schools over land. After getting guidance in the matter, further process will be started in respect of these schools.
