The Delhi Education Department has given instructions to the schools there, according to which they will have to share the status report of corona vaccination every day at 4 pm. Schools will have to tell what was the status of their corona vaccination for that day. Actually, corona vaccination of 15 to 18 year old children will start in Delhi from today. For this work, 159 government centers and 16 private centers have been built. Not only this, 60 schools run by MCD, Government, New Delhi Municipal Council and Containment Board have been made vaccination centers.

Along with this, many other schools will also be requested to allow them to set up a Temporary Kovid Vaccination Center here. The managers of many schools also want that the vaccination of their students should be like this.

What is written in the circular of the Education Department?

In this regard, it has been said in the circular issued by the Education Department that they are committed to the safety of the students and whatever necessary steps are taken for this, they will be taken. The circular said – 'The Directorate of Education is committed to take all necessary measures for the safety of the students studying in the schools of DoE. Considering the recent global increase in the number of COVID cases and the concern that has been raised after the detection of the Omicron variant, it is imperative that the DoE mandates that all government/government aided/private persons in the age group of 15 to 18 years Ensure vaccination of unaided school students on immediate basis.

Class teachers have been given the responsibility –

For such a large number of students, the vaccination program should be done properly, their teachers have been given the responsibility. It will be the job of the class teacher to motivate the parents of the students to get their children vaccinated by going to the nearest center. Along with this, the number of vaccination centers can also be increased if needed.
