Regular and distance education students studying in CDLU will get special Mercy Chance

Vice Chancellor of Devi Lal University Sirsa Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik has decided to give special chance to the students of regular and distance education mode on the demand of the students. Giving information in this regard, the Controller of Examinations of the University, Prof. Rajkumar Salar told that the students who could not complete their degree in the stipulated time due to any reason or could not improve, for those students, special Mercy Chance has been provided by the Vice Chancellor. Students will have to go through the latest syllabus before the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is implemented.

Pro. Salar told that if a student could not complete the degree due to desertion, project report or practical pass, then those students would also be able to benefit from this special Mercy Chance. He said that the fee for Special Mercy Chance has been fixed by the university administration at Rs 9000. He said that the Odd Semester students would be able to take the examination along with the University examinations to be held in January, while the Even Semester and Annual System students would be able to appear along with the examinations to be held in May-June.

Pro. Salar said that students will be able to apply for the Special Mercy Chance examinations to be held in January till January 21, 2022. Similarly, students will be able to apply till April 30 for the special Mercy Chance examinations of the even semester to be held in May-June. The last date for applications for desertion and project reports and practical examinations has also been fixed as April 30.

Student Vikas Dhaka won gold in athletics

University student Vikas Dhaka won the Gold Medal in the ongoing All India University Athletics Championships in Mangalore. He set a new record by throwing 55 points 3 8m discus and also qualified for the World University. Even before this he has won medals in national level competitions. On this success, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik, Registrar and President of Sports Council and Registrar Professor Monika Verma and Secretary of Sports Council Dr. Ashok Sharma congratulated Vikas Dhaka.
