Educational Qualifications for RSSB Lab Assistant 2026




































Department Eligibility
Secondary Education



  • Candidates must have completed their Class 12th (Intermediate) with at least three optional subjects (Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physics, Chemistry, Life Science, and Mathematics) from a recognized board.


  • Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and familiarity with Rajasthan's culture is required.
Agriculture



  • Candidates must have completed their Class 12th (Intermediate) with Science from a recognized board.
Sanskrit Education



  • Candidates must have completed their Class 12th (Intermediate) with Varishtha Upadhyay Science as an optional subject from a recognized board.
State Forensic Science Laboratory



  • Candidates must have completed their Class 12th (Intermediate) with Science in second division or equivalent from a recognized board.


  • A certificate, diploma, or degree in Computer Science or Computer Application from a recognized institution is required.


  • An O Level or higher certificate from NIELIT, New Delhi is also acceptable.


  • Completion of the Rajasthan State Certificate Course (R.S.C.I.T.) in Information Technology is necessary.
Public Health Engineering



  • Candidates must have completed their Class 12th (Intermediate) with Science in Chemistry from a recognized board.
College Education



  • Candidates must have completed their Class 12th (Intermediate) with Geography from a recognized board.



  • Final year candidates may apply, but they must complete their qualification by the exam date. Those obtaining qualifications after the exam date will not be eligible.
