Application Process

Application Fee
There is no application fee for admission to the residential hostels and schools in Rajasthan, allowing all students to apply free of charge.
Eligibility Criteria
Only students who are permanent residents of Rajasthan can apply for this scheme. Students from backward classes residing within a 5-kilometer radius of any government or aided hostel are not eligible for admission. Students in grades 6 to 12 are eligible for admission to residential schools and hostels. Priority will be given to students from BPL families, and a minimum of 40% marks in the previous class is required for admission.
Required Documents
Applications will be processed through the Jan Aadhar card, which will serve as the primary identification. Required documents include Aadhar details, bank information, caste certificate, proof of residence, income declaration, and other relevant certificates. Students will not need to upload any documents separately as the information will be verified through the Jan Aadhar portal.
How to Apply
To apply for Rajasthan Residential Hostel Admission 2025, candidates must log in to the SSO portal and fill out the application form accurately. They can select up to three hostels or schools as options. After submitting the application, it is advisable to print a copy for future reference. Students who were previously admitted and wish to renew their admission will have their applications processed by the hostel superintendent.
Special Admission Details
Students scoring 40% or more will be prioritized based on their previous year's marks. The preference order for admission includes previously residing students, orphans, and children of widows or single parents, among others. The hostel superintendent will issue a priority list, and students will have eight days to secure their admission once the list is published.
