Rajasthan Governor Appoints Vice-chancellors at Three State Universities

On Sunday, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra issued official orders for the appointment of vice-chancellors in three universities within the state. These appointments were made following consultations with the state government and were based on recommendations from the Vice-Chancellor Search Committee of the respective universities. Dr. Sunita Mishra, who serves as the Dean of the Home Sciences Department at Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow, has been selected as the new vice-chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur.

Professor Keshav Singh Thakur, the Head of Commerce and Business Studies at Jiwaji University in Gwalior, has been designated as the vice-chancellor of Govind Guru Tribal University in Banswara. Additionally, Professor Manoj Dixit, the Head of the Public Administration Department at Lucknow University, has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of Maharaja Ganga Singh University in Bikaner. These appointments hold a tenure of three years from the date of assuming office or until the individuals reach the age of 70, whichever comes first.
