The Rajasthan Education Department has released the annual academic calendar, outlining the schedule for the upcoming year. According to the calendar, schools will be closed for a total of 125 days, excluding holidays. This means that students will have 240 days of schooling throughout the year. With summer vacations coming to an end, students have returned to school, and the education department has shared the holiday dates for the academic year.
The education department has also introduced three new topics in the curriculum, including important subjects like good touch and bad touch. It's crucial for students and parents to note that these holidays do not include approximately 55 Sundays. While there are 125 days of school holidays, traditional occasions such as Muharram, Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Dussehra, and Diwali will also be observed.
The education department is making efforts to highlight new subjects and activities. In addition to providing holidays and introducing new subjects, the department has scheduled self-defense training for girls from October to August. The training, which will last for 45 days, will take place at the Rani Laxmibai Self-Defense Training Camp. Moreover, the government is considering designating one day in schools as "No Bag Day," and various other skills will be emphasized.
