Punjab School Education Board's new decree, girl students will get certificate only after paying Rs 300

Employment

Punjab School Education Board does not leave any opportunity to earn money from the students. The board collected fees last year for the board examinations of class 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th. Due to corona infection, the board did not take the board examinations last year. The board collected crores of rupees from the students in the name of examination fees and did not spend any money out of this amount due to lack of examinations. This time the Punjab School Education Board issued a soft copy of the marksheet and certificate to the students instead of the hard copy. Now there are many children who need a hardcopy of the certificate.

When students are demanding hardcopy from the board, the board is demanding a fee of Rs 300 from them instead of hardcopy. Not only this, the board has now issued a notification that whoever wants the hard copy of the certificate can get it from the headquarters of the Punjab School Education Board by paying a fee of Rs 300. The Punjab School Education Board is not issuing the hard copy of the certificate since last year and is issuing the certificate to the students through DG Lakar.

Certificate will have to be downloaded from DG Lakar

The special thing is that the certificate and mark sheet of the students which the board is issuing on the ID of the school operators, is being written on it as 'Sign Not Verified'. Which simply means that the student cannot use the marksheet and certificate anywhere by taking the printout from the schools. For this, they will have to download the certificate from their DG only. Whereas many students did not download their certificates even after bringing DG. Apart from this, there are many institutions where hardcopy of the certificate is being sought from the applicants. Due to which the students are demanding hardcopy from the board.

collected more than 100 crores

The Punjab School Education Board has filled the examination forms for about 12 lakh students of class 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th. The board charged Rs 1100-1100 from the students of class 10th, Rs 1500-1500 from the students of 12th, Rs 1050 from the students of 8th and Rs 700 from the students of class 5th. In this way, the board recovered more than Rs 100 crore from the girl students.
