The Punjab Board has issued the timetable for compartmental exams for 10th and 12th-grade students. Those appearing for the supplementary exams can access the date sheet on the official website, pseb.ac.in. The supplementary exams for PSEB class 10th and 12th will take place from August 11 to September 4, 2023. The schedule for the PSEB supplementary exams is as follows:

  • August 11, 2023: Punjabi-A and History and Culture of Punjab
  • August 14, 2023: English
  • August 16, 2023: Science
  • August 17, 2023: Social Studies
  • August 18, 2023: Music (Singing)
  • August 19, 2023: Computer Science
  • August 21, 2023: Mathematics
  • August 22, 2023: Mechanical Drawing and Painting
  • August 23, 2023: Punjabi-B, History, and Culture of Punjab-B
  • August 24, 2023: Hindi, Urdu
  • August 25, 2023: Agriculture
  • August 28, 2023: Welcome Life
  • August 29, 2023: Home Science
  • August 30, 2023: Health and Physical Education
  • August 31, 2023: Music Tabla

In other news, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) announced the class 10th results on May 26, showing an overall pass rate of 97.56%. This reflects a slight decrease of 0.38% compared to the previous year's pass rate. In 2022, out of over 3.23 lakh students who appeared for the exams, 3.16 lakh students successfully passed, resulting in a pass rate of 97.94%. Notably, Pathankot district achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.19%, while Barnala recorded the lowest pass percentage with 95.96% of students clearing the exams. Additionally, female students outperformed their male counterparts, with a pass rate of 98.46% compared to 96.73% among male students. All transgender students who took the exam successfully passed.

For class 12th, the overall pass rate was 92.47%. In this year's Punjab board class 12 exams, Gurdaspur district secured the highest pass percentage at 96.91%, while Barnala district had the lowest pass percentage at 80.47%. Over 3 lakh students across Punjab participated in the Class 12 board exam this year. To pass the PSEB Class 12th exam in 2023, students must attain at least 33% in both the theoretical and practical components. Sujan Kaur from Dashmesh Convent Senior Secondary School in Sardulgarh (Mansa) secured the top position in the PSEB class 12 examination with a perfect score of 500/500. Following closely, Shreya Singla from MSD Senior Secondary School Bathinda ranked second in the state with a remarkable score of 498 out of 500 marks.
