Employment News-There is great news for the candidates who have been disappointed because PhD is mandatory for the post of Assistant Professor. This year, the requirement of PhD has been relieved. This decision has been taken due to Corona pandemic. This announcement has been made by the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The minister said that the requirement of PhD has been abolished for recruitment to the post of assistant professor in universities. Now students without doing PhD can also apply for this post.

He said, earlier PhD was made mandatory for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in higher educational institutions of the country. But now this criterion has been removed. So that the vacancies can be filled on time and studies are not affected due to shortage of faculty/professors.
