The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has extended the registration deadline for the MAH Nursing CET 2024 exam, providing candidates with another opportunity to apply. The new deadline for submitting application forms is now March 31, 2024, offering aspirants additional time to complete the registration process.

Extended Application Deadline: The original deadline for MAH Nursing CET 2024 application submission was March 15, which has now been extended to March 31, 2024. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Application Fee Details: Candidates are required to pay the application fee while submitting their MAH Nursing CET 2024 application forms. Applicants from the open and EWS categories must pay Rs 1000, while those from SC, ST, and OBC categories need to pay Rs 800.

Steps to Apply: To apply for MAH Nursing CET 2024, candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org
  2. Register with the necessary details and create a login.
  3. Fill out the application form as prompted.
  4. Pay the application fee and upload required documents.
  5. Review all details and submit the form.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (Class 12) or equivalent examination from a Maharashtra-based institution are eligible to appear for the MAH Nursing CET 2024. However, the subjects English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) are mandatory.

Exam Details: The MAH Nursing CET exam is scheduled for May 7 and will be conducted in a computer-based format. The duration of the test is 1 hour and 30 minutes, and it will be conducted only in English. The exam consists of 100 questions divided into five sections: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Nursing Aptitude.

No Upper Age Limit: Notably, there is no maximum or upper age limit for admission to various nursing programs, including BSc(N), MSc(N), ANM, GNM, PBB Sc(N), Post Basic Diploma, and Nurse Practitioner courses. However, the upper age limit for applying to MAH Nursing CET has been reduced, with candidates now eligible to apply up to the age of 35, or 40 in case of disability, as per the official notification.
