NTA to Release CMAT 2024 Answer Key Shortly: Steps to Verify Your Answers

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is soon to release the answer key for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2024. This article provides essential information regarding the CMAT examination, including the marking scheme, cut-off marks, and tie-breaking rules.

Key Information:

1. CMAT Examination Details:

   • CMAT is a management entrance exam conducted by the NTA for admission to AICTE-approved institutions and affiliated colleges.
   • The exam was held in a computer-based test mode on May 20 across various centres in two shifts: 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm.

2. Marking Scheme:

   • Each correct answer is awarded 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect response.
   • No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.

3. Cut-off Marks:

   • The expected cut-off is between 95 to 99 percentiles, with a minimum score requirement of 120 to secure admission into MBA colleges.

4. Downloading CMAT Answer Key 2024:

   • Visit the official CMAT website at exams.nta.ac.in.
   • Find and click on the "CMAT Answer Key 2024" link.
   • Fill in the required details to access the answer key.
   • Download the answer key for future reference.

5. Tie-Breaking Rule:

   • In case of identical scores, tie-breaking is done based on CGPA from the last graduation examination, overall pass percentage in Class 12, and older age.

6. Challenging Answer Key:

   • NTA will also display the response sheet and question paper on its website for candidates to challenge the provisional answer keys.
   • A fee of Rs 200 per challenged question is applicable.
   • Final results will be prepared based on the final answer keys.
