The Ministry of Education is going to take important steps to impart knowledge of Indian culture, Vedas, Yoga and ancient India in a modern way to the new generation settled in every corner of the country. In this initiative of modernizing the country in the field of education as well as connecting the students with the culture of the country, the Indian knowledge tradition curriculum is being made available in Sanskrit as well as Hindu and English language, so that the knowledge of Vedas and ancient India It should not be limited to just one category, but the common citizens of the country can read and know it easily.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has prepared books and e-learning materials by dividing the Indian Knowledge Tradition syllabus into classes I to XII, translating it into Sanskrit, Hindi and English. It will be released by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on this Vasant Panchami. Five lakh students of the country will get benefit: Students will be able to study Vedic studies, Yoga and Sanskrit grammar in Sanskrit language and know its meaning in Hindi and English while sitting at home.

This change will directly benefit about 50 thousand students studying in the Indian Knowledge Tradition course, as well as those who wish to gain the knowledge of Vedas, but not the knowledge of Sanskrit language.
