NITTE University B.Tech Admissions 2024 Open: No Application Fee, Apply Online

NITTE University has initiated the online application process for BTech degrees through its official website, nucat.nitte.edu.in. Aspiring students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the NITTE University BTech programme 2024 through both online and offline modes by providing the necessary information. The application process does not have any associated fee, and the deadline for application submission is February 6, 2024.

NITTE University BTech 2024: Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the BTech programme, candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (40 per cent for reserved categories) in optional subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry / Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, and Electronics, with English as one of the languages of study. Additionally, candidates must be at least 17 years old.

The university categorizes admissions into three categories: General, Inclusivity, and NRI. General and Inclusivity category admissions are based on inter-se merit in NUCAT. The General category (80% of seats) is reserved for Indian nationals who completed Class 12 in India, while the Inclusivity category (10% of seats) is for students who completed Class 12 in India but are not from Karnataka. NRI candidates are eligible for direct admission based on their marks in PCM subjects in Class 12, covering Foreign Nationals, PIOs, Indian Overseas Citizens, candidates who completed Class 12 outside of India, and candidates who completed Class 12 in India but were sponsored by parents or blood relations with NRI status.

The first NUCAT test is scheduled for February 17 and 18. The second test will take place from April 12 to 14, and the third test from June 14 to 16.
