NIT Jamshedpur Sets Placement Record, 6 Students Secure Rs 80 Lakh-Plus Package

NIT Jamshedpur, one of these premier engineering colleges, has achieved an incredible milestone in its 2023 placement season.

Impressive Placements at NIT Jamshedpur: In a remarkable feat, NIT Jamshedpur set a new record during this year's placement season by having six of its students secure annual packages of Rs 83 lakhs each. These outstanding job offers were extended by Atlassian, a multinational IT company headquartered in Australia. What's particularly noteworthy is that three students from the Computer Science branch and three from Electrical Engineering clinched these high-paying positions and have already accepted the offers.

Pride of the Institution: Professor Gautam Sutradhar, the Director of NIT Jamshedpur, and Professor AK Choudhary, the placement cell in-charge, expressed their immense pride in the institution's achievement, especially in securing the highest package. 3. Impressive Placement Statistics: In total, 663 B.Tech students at NIT Jamshedpur received a staggering 919 job offers during this placement season. Furthermore, 64.63% of postgraduate students have also successfully secured placements. This year's success is a substantial improvement compared to the previous year, where only one student achieved such a high-paying job placement, making this year's accomplishment even more significant.

4. Success Beyond High-Paying Packages: The institute has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, with a remarkable 91.49% of MCA students securing placements. Moreover, 65.26% of students from other B.Tech branches have successfully secured internships, while 56.13% of students pursuing various engineering courses have also obtained internships during the 2023-24 placement session.
