New National Education Policy will enhance the competency of youth

Employment News-A one-day workshop on National Education Policy 2020 was organized at DCSK PG College in the city on Tuesday. In this, the principal, teachers and students of various colleges of the district discussed the new education policy. The program was started by the chief guest Principal Krishna Kumar Khandelwal, the representative management committee by lighting the lamp and garlanding in front of the statue of Mother Saraswati.

Addressing the seminar, the keynote speaker Prof. Manas Pandey convener said that National Education Policy 2020 will prove to be the Magna Carta of education. This will work for skill development among the youth. The biggest feature of the new education policy is that the youth will be able to choose those additional subjects according to their interest in which they have curiosity. According to this new education policy, students will have to study a total of six subjects, in which three will be major (major) subjects and three additional (minor) subjects will have to be studied.

In which the fifth paper will be related to skill development. The sixth paper will promote cultural and intellectual development. Simultaneously, under the new education policy, students will have to earn a total of 46 credit points in the first year and 92 credit points in the second year.

Dr. Ramesh Mani Tripathi, Principal, Kutir PG College Chakke Jaunpur explained the education policy in detail to the people and said that the new education policy will give a new height to the students. In the presidential address, Dr. Sharvesh Pandey, Principal of DCSK PG College said that this new National Education Policy 2020 will not only work for transformation but also in education. This will provide opportunities to the youth to hone their potential. Skill has already been a part of our way of life, but due to lack of focus on skill development in the previous two education policies, confusion has been created among the youth regarding employment. With this education policy, the education world will get height, as well as the youth will also get employment opportunities.

Dr. Rashika Riyaz, Senior Associate Professor of English Department of the college expressed gratitude to all the visiting guests. All the guests who came to the program were welcomed by Dr. Ziaullah, Head of Department of History. Dr. Shikha Tiwari, Associate Professor, Department of Hindi conducted the operation. On this occasion, Head of Department of Hindi, Dr. Kanchan Rai, Dr. Babulal Yadav, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Harilal, Dr. Sudhir Singh, Dr. Akanksha Rai, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Pandey, Dr. Sudha Tripathi, Praveen Mishra, Vishal Pandey , Abhay Chaudhary, Sher Muhammad, Deepchand, Pradeep Mishra, Dr. Ghanshyam Dubey, Dr. Dinesh Srivastava, Sidhari Singh Yadav etc. were involved.
