Physical Stray Vacancy Round Cancellation
The Directorate of Medical Education, West Bengal has officially cancelled the physical stray vacancy round for NEET UG medical and dental counselling. This decision corrects an earlier error, and there will be no additional round of counselling to fill leftover seats after the three main rounds.
Revised Eligibility Criteria for PWD Candidates
For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates, the minimum required marks in the qualifying exams for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology have been revised:
- Previous Requirement: 50% aggregate marks
- Revised Requirement: 40% aggregate marks
This change aligns with the NMC and DCI regulations, providing greater accessibility for PWD candidates.
