NEET UG 2023: NTA Releases Clarification On SC/ST Certificate. Check Official Notice Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notice informing candidates that no cut-off date will be applied to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificates for the NEET UG 2023 exam.
 
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notice informing candidates that no cut-off date will be applied to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificates for the NEET UG 2023 exam. According to the NTA, the NEET 2023 notification has been revised accordingly, and interested candidates can find the complete notice on the official website of NTA at neet.nta.nic.in.  The official notice states that "no cut-off date for SC/ST certificate in favour of concerned candidates has been stipulated" with respect to the Information Bulletin for NEET (UG) – 2023. NTA has amended clause 6.2.3 of the bulletin for NEET UG 2023, and even para (1) and para (2) of Appendix-XB in the detailed bulletin have been updated. Moreover, NTA has clarified that no cut-off date applies to the SC or ST certificate format given in Appendix-XA, nor will it be applied in the online application form for NEET UG 2023.  As per the NEET reservation policy 2023, 15 percent of seats in every programme is reserved for Scheduled Caste, 7.5 percent for Scheduled Tribe, while 5 percent of seats are reserved for each of the General, General Category - Economic Weaker Section, Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer, SC, and ST category seats for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) applicants.
