NEET UG 2023: Counselling Schedule Likely To Release This Week At mcc.nic.in

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to release the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2023 this week on mcc.nic.in. While there is no official confirmation from the examination authorities, some reports suggest that the counselling session will commence in July. For the NEET 2023 counseling process, the State Counseling Authorities will handle the 85% State Quota seats, while the MCC will manage the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Out of the 20,38,596 candidates who applied for the NEET UG 2023 exam, 11,45,976 candidates have been shortlisted.

The NEET 2023 Counseling Process involves several steps such as registration, choice filling, option locking, seat assignment, seat assignment results, and reporting to designated colleges. The MCC NEET 2023 counselling system selects students for admission to MBBS/BDS programs under AIQ, deemed institutions, and ESIC/AFMS colleges across the country, based on the NEET 2023 results. It is mandatory to pass the NEET exam to be eligible for enrollment in these medical programs. There are two types of NTA NEET counseling: All India and State.

For the NEET UG 2023 counseling, the following documents will be required:

NEET UG 2023 Admit and Rank Card
Copy of NEET UG 2023 Application
10th Board Exam Marksheet and Pass Certificate
12th Science Marksheet and passing certificate
Birth certificate
Category certificate (if applicable)
Provisional allotment letter
Valid identity proof like Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport
Passport-size photographs
Domicile Certificate
Migration Certificate

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, the Delhi Police detained four AIIMS medical students on suspicion of defrauding NEET applicants. These students allegedly accepted Rs 7 lakh from the applicants in exchange for concealing their identities and appearing for them in the medical entrance exam. Naresh Bishroi, a second-year medical student at AIIMS, was the ringleader of this gang. The detained individuals include Sanju Yadav, Mahavir, Jitendra, and Naresh Bishroi. The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
