The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) counseling will begin from tomorrow. To apply and secure seats for the 50 percent All India quota, candidates must register on the official website, mcc.nic.in, before the deadline. The NEET PG registration portal will close on August 1 at 12 pm, and fee payment can be done until 8 pm on the same day. Once registered and fees paid, candidates can fill out their college preferences between July 28 and August 2 till 11:55 pm. On August 2, from 3 pm to 11:55 pm, candidates must lock their college selections, which cannot be changed later.

The seat allocation results for the initial round of MCC NEET PG counseling will be published on August 5. From August 7 to August 13, 2023, applicants must report to their designated institutions for enrollment. MCC will conduct three rounds of NEET PG counseling, followed by a round for stray openings. The second round of registration will begin on August 17.

For general category applicants seeking admission to AIQ or Central University, the fee is Rs 1,000, while SC and ST applicants need to pay Rs 500. Those applying for a deemed university must pay Rs 5,000. Candidates have the liberty to choose a course and college based on their preferences and qualifications for NEET PG seat distribution. They also have the option to apply to multiple colleges.

For the 50% All India Quota (AIQ), the NEET PG UG score will be considered to determine admission to PG medical degrees. The counseling process is open to students who meet the AIQ requirements. NEET PG 2023 took place on March 4, and the results were declared on March 14.
