NEET PG 2023 Counselling Registration Likely To Commence From July 15 At mcc.nic.in

Get ready for the upcoming National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 counselling! While the official confirmation is yet to come, recent media reports suggest that the counselling registration will commence on July 15. Keep an eye out for the official website, mcc.nic.in, where the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon post the NEET PG counselling dates for 2023 once they become public.
The NEET PG score holds significant weight as it determines admission to PG medical courses under the fifty per cent All India Quota (AIQ). Candidates who fulfill the All India Quota (AIQ) requirements will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Moreover, those who have qualified in the NEET PG 2023 are encouraged to apply for state quota seats in their respective states.
The NEET PG 2023 examination took place on March 4, and the results were released on March 14. The category-wise merit list for state quota seats will be compiled by the states and union territories based on their qualifying criteria and applicable regulations. On June 16, the AIQ seats' merit list was made available to the public.
To participate in the NEET PG counselling 2023, applicants who meet the AIQ seat requirements must register on the official MCC website. During the registration process, applicants will need to provide their full name, date of birth, NEET PG 2023 application number, security password, and other necessary details to obtain their login credentials.
Applicants from the general category are required to submit an admission fee of Rs 1,000 for AIQ or Central University admission, while SC and ST category candidates need to deposit Rs 500. For those seeking admission to a deemed university, the fee is Rs 5,000. During the seat allocation process, candidates will have the opportunity to choose a course and college based on their preferences and qualifications. They can also apply to multiple colleges if desired.
The NEET PG counselling for 2023 will be conducted in four rounds: round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and stray round. Once the registration process concludes, the MCC will announce the NEET PG seat allocation results. Selected candidates must ensure they join their designated college within the specified timeframe. Stay tuned for further updates on this important counselling process!
