NEET Aspirant Dies by Suicide at Kota

Tragedy struck the Kota coaching community once again when Pushpendra Singh, a NEET coaching student from Jalore, took his life by hanging himself on Sunday. Having arrived in Kota just seven days ago, he was residing in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar hostel with his cousin. On that fateful day, Pushpendra's cousin had gone to the market, and upon returning, he discovered the room's gate locked. After failing to get a response from Pushpendra, he informed the hostel operator about the situation. The operator, upon investigating, found Pushpendra's lifeless body hanging from the ceiling.
The police were promptly informed, and the authorities, along with the grieving relatives who arrived from Jalore on Monday morning, conducted a postmortem examination. No suicide note was discovered, leaving the reason behind Pushpendra's devastating decision shrouded in mystery. Further investigations are required to shed light on the possible cause.
In the wake of this tragic event, Pushpendra's uncle raised a poignant question, demanding accountability for such unfortunate occurrences in Kota. He urged the government to identify the root causes leading to these incidents. With 15 reported cases of suicide attempts or suicides by students in the past six months in Kota, it is essential to find a comprehensive solution to address this deeply concerning issue.
